Green Tape provides custom service and product offerings for your company’s accrual-based accounting system needs. Our custom service packages can include monthly or quarterly financial statements, accounts payable via electronic or overnight shipments, online or physical accounts receivable invoicing and Government customer required financial reporting through Earned Value Management (EVM). We have partnered with both payroll and electronic timecard services at discounted rates on your behalf for best-value third-party vendor offerings that will work with your accounting system. If you decide you would like to do your accounting internally, we offer you our Green Tape Government Approved accounting system for purchase and help you install it.

Financial Statements

Our custom financial statement packages can include virtually any report you desire, up to and including backlog and company “dashboard” analysis. These analyses help you manage your company and earnings, while meeting your Government customer and IRS reporting requirements.

Payroll Services

Green Tape offers a choice of approved payroll vendors that we work with on your behalf. Green Tape offers one valuable benefit to a payroll service the others may not have, an Accountant that interfaces with payroll for your complete payroll accounting. Payroll means more than issuing paychecks. Problems in payroll, or in your company’s taxes and reporting, can be costly. That is why we believe such a vital part of your business should be handled by someone who knows your business, including your Government accounting system. Our payroll providers prepare all federal and state wage returns and offer electronic media and filing capabilities.

Tax Planning and Preparation

Green Tape can help you monitor federal, state, and local tax law changes to allow your company to minimize current and future tax liabilities. You can use your CPA or we can recommend one of our Government-familiar partner firms. We then interface with your CPA, on your behalf and provide them with your financial statements and tax information they need to complete your annual company and personal tax returns. In addition, we understand many common small business strategies for tax planning and can ensure that we are working on your behalf with your CPA or lawyer in this important accounting area.

Accounting Products

The Green Tape Government Approved accounting system is an add-on product to QuickBooks Pro and Enterprise SolutionsTM so you can work on cost-type contracts and be compliant. The product may be used with other job cost accounting packages that do not compute indirect rates. This system provides for an affordable Government accounting package using Intuit’s industry leading QuickBooks small business accounting programs.
