Clean Technology Client

Our client is an agriculture-energy company and marketer of premium renewable fuel products. Their products and services are differentiated by proprietary oilseed crops, additives, quality assurance, blending and distribution infrastructure. They provide one of the highest quality biofuels available today.

The firm is committed to improving the environment, and contributing to national security by reducing U.S. dependence on imported fuels. In striving for these goals, they will further the use of their biofuels to improve air quality, while supporting U.S. agriculture and strengthening the rural economy. Their lead product helps address four key problems:

• Declining reserves of petroleum
• National security concerns requiring the U.S. to reduce dependence on imported petroleum
• Air quality issues and pressure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and mitigate global warming
• Pressure to improve the U.S. farm economy

Since 2006, the Green Tape founder has provided Government funding support, technical and cost proposal support, business management and financial services, grants and contracts management and accounting advice for this fuels company.

Specifically, after some initial strategic work with the company, Green Tape provided both R&D and product business development support that resulted in multiple R&D awards and product subcontract awards for fuel sales to the Government. In addition, and as part of the ongoing work effort, Green Tape has provided outsourced services as Director of Contracts as well as Finance and Accounting support to ensure our clients remain compliant in dealing with Government “Red Tape”.
